We are open 6 days a week from 9am to 5pm Mon-Sat. During these times our reception area and packing materials shop will be open plus our fully trained and friendly staff will be on hand to help you with whatever you need.  For safety and security reasons outside of these hours you will only be able to gain access to your storage unit or outdoor storage bay by prior arrangement. When are you open? When can I get access to my things?

You can rent a unit for as little as one month.

What's the shortest time I can rent a storage unit for?

You can rent a unit for as long as you please

What's the longest length of time I can rent a unit for?

Yes we do, from as little as £8 per week. We have two large outdoor storage yards that are suitable for cars, caravans, motor homes, mobile homes, boats or other types of vehicle. You can also store machinery, tools, scaffolding, sheds and anything else as long as it's weather proof. (with exception to the items on the banned list set out in your terms and conditions) Please call for availability and prices.

What services do you offer businesses and online sellers?

For hygiene and safety reasons NO pets are allowed in either the indoor or outdoor storage areas or reception except for guide dogs for the blind or visually impaired.

Am I allowed to bring my dog to my storage unit?

Our Storage facility offers 24 hour CCTV, a comprehensive alarm system (fire and smoke detection system and intruder), fire extinguishers, electronically operated shutter doors with your own key, plus mobile security patrols. The facility is also well lit with wide corridors and full width doors. If you would like to talk to one of our staff about security in more detail then please call us on 01395 263770.

How secure will my things be?

We are open on the weekends but currently not open on Bank Holidays.

Are you open at the weekends and bank holidays?

No. We let you know all the costs that will be included before you move in.

Are there any hidden costs?

During our opening hours you can come and go as often as you like. Normal hours are 9am to 5pm Mon-Sat. Outside of these hours you can arrange to get access for a small additional fee. Extended hours are usually between 5pm and 11pm. You can also get access outside of these hours’s but by prior arrangement only.

Can I access my storage whenever I want?

The storage rooms are ideal for storing and archiving etc but cannot be used to operate machinery or power tools. We may also have separate units that can be rented as offices so please call for more details. For office rental we can also arrange for the connection of a phone line and/or broadband.

Can I run my business from my storage unit or use it as a workshop?

You cannot use any machinery or perform any kind of mechanical work in the storage unit.

Can I use the storage room as a workshop?

Yes. We own a range of different sized vehicles available for collections and removals. Please call for a quote on 01395 263770.

Can you help me with van hire?

No. The price you receive for a quote is for storage only. However, as mentioned above we own a range of different sized vehicles available for collections and removals. Please call for a quote on 01395 263770.

Does the price for storage include removals?

This all depends on how much space you need and long you need to store your things for. Please call us for more details or fill in our on-line Quick Quote form. All prices are priced weekly cost including VAT.

How much does storage cost?

No. You are responsible for organising your own insurance.

Does the quote price include insurance?

Yes. As long as we have availability, you have completed all the necessary paperwork and we are in receipt of a cleared deposit you can move in as quickly as you like (provided it is during our opening hours). Call us to check availability on 01395 263770 or fill out our Quick Quote form.

Can I move in today?

No, but you will have had to complete all the necessary paperwork, and paid your deposit before you can access your storage unit or yard space. You can come and do this before anybody turns up so that the unit is available when they get here. You must also either add any third parties to your account or have called us to let us know who's coming on your behalf.

Do I have to be there on moving in day?

Yes of course, once you've completed the paperwork you can move in whenever you like.

Can I change my move in date?

Can I get a discount if I pay in advance for long term storage?

No, not without prior arrangement. We are open between 9am and 5pm Mon-Sat. We also offer an extended hours service between 5pm and 11pm again by prior arrangement only. If you need to get access to your unit outside of these hours you must arrange this with a member of our team. Depending on when you need access there might be a small call out fee.

Do you offer collection?

Yes. We sell a variety of boxes, bubble wrap and packing tape. Please click here to see what we offer.

Do you sell boxes?

Not at the moment, but you can purchase them from reception during opening hours.

Can you deliver my boxes to me?

Do my items have to be stored in boxes?

No. The items just need to be stored securely.

Yes of course. You are very welcome to buy any of our boxes or packing materials, you don’t need to be a storage customer to purchase anything from us. Please click here to see what we offer.

Can I just buy boxes if I don't store with you?

This depends how late you are in paying your bill. We will send you a reminder a couple of days before your bill is due just in case you've forgotten, so you will have plenty of opportunity to pay before going past your due date. If however you do, we will allow you a little lee way to settle your outstanding amount. After this time you may be charged a late fee and have restricted access to your unit. You will be informed in writing if this becomes necessary, as per our terms and conditions.

I haven’t paid my bill, can I still access my storage unit?

We will cut you another one but there will be a small charge.

What happens if I lose my key?

Yes. Please see the relevant section in the terms and conditions of your Storage Agreement or call one of our team for advice

Is there anything I'm not allowed to store?

You can store a fridge or a freezer provided they are turned off and de-iced. You cannot store a working fridge or freezer due to the risk of a leak.

Can I store a fridge or freezer in my storage room?

Yes. Who has access to your room is up to you. They need to be named on your account and you need to have given them your key.

Can I allow other people to access my unit?

The only people that have access to your unit are yourself, those chosen by you or us, but only in an emergency.

Who has access to my room?

Yes. The Storage facility has been built with disabled access in mind and most unit sizes are available on the ground floor. The corridors are wide and well lit and the doors to all storage units are full width.

Is there disabled access?

Yes, but only at Christmas and New Year. Please check the website or ask one of our team

Are there any seasonal changes to your opening hours?

We are delighted to offer a mobile catering unit right outside the main entrance called Just Jools which offers you tea, coffee and cold drinks plus a selection of hot and cold food. Just Jools is open from Mon to Fri from 8am to 2pm every day. Please feel free to enjoy a drink or snack outside but please do not eat or drink in the storage area.

Can I get food and drink at the Storage Centre?

No sorry you can't make any alterations to your storage unit

Can I put up shelves, add power points or lights or add an alarm or CCTV?

Yes. We have one unisex toilet on the ground floor near reception

Are there any toilets on site?

Not at the moment we can only accept cash, cheques or bank transfers.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?

Yes, but by prior arrangement only. If you need us to help then please give one of our team a call with all the details.

Is there anyone to help me unload when I arrive at the storage facility?

No. Our CCTV covers the corridors and all entrances, exits and external areas, but not the inside of your storage unit.
